PRESS RELEASE OCTOBER 09 2008
THE RIGHT TO WORK IN FRENCH IN FRANCE
ACTION FOR JUSTICE
In order to respect the linguistic rights of French employees, the CFTC has cited that Europ Assistance must present itself at the Nanterre Tribunal, on the 31st of October 2008, at 11 a.m.
EUROP ASSISTANCE HAS ALREADY BEEN ACCUSED BY THE NANTERRE TRIBUNAL FOR HAVING ABUSED THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND DISRESPECTING THE TOUBON ONE.
On the 26th of September, in occasion of Multilinguism Day, the Secretary of the Francophonic State, Joyandet, claimed that he intended to guarantee the French language in the work industry.
The reality: the Tribunal must be invested in in order to ensure that our Francophonic linguistic rights are protected in France.
The language problem concerns discrimination, work, education, security and employment conditions. The enchanting and angelic statements on multilingualism hide the truth, that languages and cultures are being removed in favour of a single language.
It's becoming all the more frequent for French to be replaced by English with the effect that our language will only be used in a private sphere. Say no to the linguistic Emona and say no to submitting employees to a language that is not their own.
