«The introduction of an entrance exam for high school is intolerable and is a clear violation of the Constitution, because is a limitation of access to public schools. It is another stroke to Italian youths’ education and it accelerates the decline of Italian public school system. Everyone has the right to study and to fix the problem of the deficiency of teachers and schools, we should follow the example of one of the most innovative sector in the Italian university, e-learning». This is the comment of the leader of Esperanto Radikala Asocio, Giorgio Pagano.

«The problem, actually, is that teachers are less and less in number, and spaces in schools scarce. We should strenghten e-learning, and create real places to spread knowledge, a series of networked schools and high schools, as, for example, Consorzio Nettuno is. It’s clear that the old system is not enough to grant mass education. To grant it, it’s crucial to reach every house, to cable every family. From this point of view it is very important to follow the Digital Agenda for Europe which call for a cheap Internet connection for everyone, and for the creation of new generation access point».

«Eurostat data of 2011 specify that in Italy there are too few graduates. Only the 20,3% of Italian people between 30 and 40 years old are graduated, while the European average is of 34,6%. I can’t see why it’s denied the admission to instruction to Italian young people with the numerus clausus system in the Universities and schools and at the same time Italian system is collaborating to the their linguistic and cultural genocide through the widespread creation of degree courses only in English language.

This system favors just the foreign students and discriminate the Italian.

Foreign students will have easy access to the instruction in our country as if they pay taxes like the families of Italian students do.

It seems that the academics and politicians want to apply the antithesis of what they should do: they act in order to make our nation a nationa composed by ignorants. It’s through the ignorance that people can be dominated and it’s just through the culture that people can acquire awareness and critical thinking», the

ERA’s Secretary concluded.
