COMMERCIAL FREEDOM OPPORTUNITIES AT RISK FOR LUCCA HISTORICAL CENTER, ERA EXHIBITS AT THE PRESIDENTIAL COUNCIL

Posted on in ERA News 3 view

To prevent that the Lucca center opens commercial activity reserved only to the Italian ethnic group, and closed off to others, the "Esperanto" Radical Association exhibits at the Department of Equal Opportunities at the Presidential Council of Ministers, to verify the possible presence of discriminatory behaviour in the Administrative Regulations that have been applied to the foods and drinks sold in this Municipality.
“A measure such as this doesn’t help those foreign citizens who intend to work in our country’s commercial department,” Giorgio Pagano, ERA’s Secretary, said, “our intention is to prevent that the segment of the Regulations in this undermines the process of integration for foreign citizens living in Italy, endangering those who have launched a legal activity, but also to create more opportunity to those who visit the historical center of Lucca, to taste the many avried restaurants in that there are in the historical center.”
